Need offline mode so can read on Airplane mode

Its the only source I check daily to get my news! I like how its a one-stop shop.

I have had this app for years and loved it! However, it is now being filled with more advertising than I can tolerate. If I have to continue to minimize ads just to get through a new story it is definitely a problem! ( not just pone ad but multiple.)

Love this app. While the main page may lean towards the left (along with much of the historically top news sources like NY Times and CNN), it clearly labels the source for each story. I like that I can add tabs for areas Im interested in - National Geographic, local news and even Fox News for some balance. It does get large - several Gb, especially when I use it often - because I think it stores locally images and articles for its Smart View. But if Ive got a poor data connection waiting for a haircut, I really appreciate the benefits.

A good place to find biased useless (and many times fake) news. Use Feedly.

Used to be good but they made a sharp left turn. All they report is negative crap on Donald Trump. Not that I support him but its starting to be really annoying.

This is my go to news source first thing in the morning and throughout the day because it updates regularly, is easy to access and covers worldwide news. Love it!

It is perfect for keeping up wit the news without all the clutter

The idea is good. The big big problem is 95 percent of the time it closes automatically when I try to open it. And yes I have all recent updates on the app. Over and over again it closes the app when I go to open it or update the news stories. Its as almost useless the last few weeks.

You cant change the top news and most of its fake, just like the current news today thats being reported theres no scrutiny on the apps part. Anyone can share a false story and its in here.

I have used this app for well over a year now and enjoyed it for the most part - news feeds for many sources with a good interface allowing me to look at what I want to see. Then we had an election and it was clear that the stories that were chosen for the top stories feed were trending to one side more and more each day to the point that I could no longer trust I was getting a good sample of unbiased stories. The app does not allow any tuning to avoid the really inflammatory articles that were appearing. It would be easy to add a filter not to see anything from a particular news source, but I was still getting stupid "political" stories from teen magazines I had no interest in. So Im giving up on this app from today forward. It is succumbing to the influences of group think and sensationalism at the expense of being a trusted news source.

The media hasnt learned from their mistakes - still at it with far left news stories and no balance. Having said that - the functionality is good. Just wish you could choose the feeds - not just select from the biased offerings available.

This is my definite goto source for mainstream news. Fair and balanced, it brings me coverage from all the best media outlets. SMARTNEWS covers global and international news, poltics, sports, lifestyles, major newspapers and a multitude of other topics. Even better and more balance than HUFFPO in my view. (and even use them as a source)

I love reading quick stories. The stories are short but filled with pertinent details.

I had several different apps to receive my news, ranging from political to technological to video games to international. This app puts all of those into one single app. The tabs out certainly great to ease from one media outlet to the other without any lag. I also enjoy being able to review articles offline. Thank you!! The only thing I will mention is to receive notifications faster when there is breaking news.

Worst piece of garbage news I have ever read. This news source is so bias it is unbelievable. It makes me sick where the media is going in this country, its in the toilet.

Im a news nerd and have lots of news apps. This one has the best aggregator layout by far. Revised: still great layout and organized well but way too much editorializing presented as "news" Update: still like the layout but news editing is to biased to one side only. Leftist bias takes away from an otherwise good app
