Have always loved smart news. This morning wake up, first thing open smart news and Im disgusted this site has joined the appalling behavior of objectifying women. Seriously? There isnt a women on your staff enlightening you as to the fact were trying it overcome this negative stance on womens body?????? I have close to a 1000 contacts, at least that in my email to including women AND men who know better. Maybe losing a few users will broaden your horizons. What a shame!!!!! There isnt more newsworthy sites to include? SmartNEWS - how is this NEWS?? I have faith youll find a more NEWSworthy site for us. Respectfully- a user since day one

12 of the 22 "top news stories" on the opening page are anti-trump. The other ten were unrelated to politics. Solid work. This is why the American people have such little faith in the media...at least the ones with half a brain.

Always up to date and often beats other news apps to breaking stories. The sources are genuine news sources. Only minor drawback is that a couple of sources - primarily The New York Times - freeze stories until you get a paid subscription. Not a big deal since there are so many other top tier sources feeding SmartNews.

I feel that the creators of the news feed dont support a balanced view of political news. Too much anti Trump and left liberal views on most of the articles Ive seen.

Im really surprised by this app. I love the layout, and the sources, hope to see more coming in the future. May even ditch Flipboard for this.

Love the interface and offline functionality, but more custom sources should be available - Gawker media, CBC, and Globe & Mail being the most notable among the missing. Great start though.

I get notifications regarding a story that seems interesting, but when I click the notification and it opens the app it does not open that story and in all cases so far I could not even find the story.

Only two days of use has earned this news app a permanent place on my phone. Great selection of stories, easy to use, very attractive UI.... And no annoying ads! What more could anyone ask for?

Great idea and there is a ton of potential here, but at present your choices are pretty much USA or USA & everywhere else.

I gave this app a try for a couple of weeks, but in the end I decided to delete it because it is too US-centric and the articles load slowly. It could be a good aggregator, but it has it needs to have better content and sources. The competition can tailor content to more countries, including Canada.

Lots of interesting stories. Like the Smartview option which loads the individual stories very quickly.

I find it so extremely annoying that when I close the app and go back into it at another time, it doesnt start back at the beginning of the topics on the stop. I have to scroll back to the top headlines. Really annoying.

Works so awesome when my internet connection is slow. Gives me lots of choices of which news feeds I want so Im lovin it!

Ease of use and simplicity of layout is what I love most. This app gives me just the right amount of news.

I love the diversity it offers in news, but above all, its adaptability for slow connections, which I got a lot while travelling in Asia for the last 15 months.

Love this app where you can read all the great international news site in one app. The smart view feature is really good when you have slow internet or just want to save your data. Would be nice if they could include an option to allow user to choose smart view as their default view instead. Because I personally love that feature since it saves data and it load faster and it gives you a nice clean page to read. And it is quite tiring when you cant have it open to smart view as default. In addition it would be nice if they could include Bloomberg news in the app too! So for now 4 stars only.

Why did we have to wait 20 years for the best app ever?
